How Ten-Fifty5 Analyses Your Tennis Match

Ten-Fifty5 turns raw tennis match video into a pro-level dashboard in three steps: upload, analyse, improve. The whole loop runs automatically and finishes in a couple of hours — no manual tagging, no special equipment, no sports-science degree required.

Step 1 — Record and upload. Set up any camera courtside — an iPhone on a tripod is enough — and record your match. Upload the video through your Ten-Fifty5 portal in a single drag-and-drop. We support common formats (MP4, MOV) and any resolution from 720p upwards. No app install, no proprietary hardware.

Step 2 — Computer vision and AI. Our pipeline uses computer vision to detect every shot, track ball trajectory and bounce location, identify both players, classify each stroke, and reconstruct point structure. A pose-based serve detector marks first and second serves and double faults. Once the per-point fact table is built, an AI coaching layer (powered by Claude) reviews the match and produces personalised feedback grounded in your actual data — not generic advice.

Step 3 — Dashboard and AI coach. You get a four-module dashboard: match analytics, placement heatmaps showing where every shot landed, player performance trends across all your uploaded matches, and an AI Coach you can ask follow-up questions. Compare your serve T-zone accuracy to last month. Spot the rally-length bracket where you lose most points. Get a development plan based on what your data actually shows.
